Speaker Series: Eating Disorders Round Table
My colleague Anne Cuthbert, MA, LPC, LMHC and I have launched a speaker series called Eating Disorders Round Table. Each month we will have a specialist in eating disorders (therapists, dietitians, and physicians) present on a topic related to disordered eating and/or body image. Presentations are the second Wednesday of the month, from 6:30-8 pm. All are welcome to attend. For more information or to register, please click here.
Who is Running Your Show?
A 3-day workshop to learn how to navigate your Thoughts, your Feelings, and your Self with more ease and live a more fulfilling life.
I am offering this workshop as a crash-course on living your life with ease and meaning. It is a compilation of my experience and learning over the last 18 years as a licensed psychologist. The concepts and skills taught in the workshop are largely based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and neuroscience.
Over the course of the workshop, I will teach you how to consistently make choices in support of a rich, fulfilling life. We will work through a series of modules focused on changing your relationship with your thoughts, feelings, and self-judgment so that you – not they – are running your show. You will learn how to prioritize what you find valuable in life and navigate the difficult bits of your inner world with more ease.
This is an experiential workshop. We will practice concepts and skills in the workshop, and we will customize them to work for you in your life. We will develop a daily practice for you to use to support the changes you want to make and sustain. I will also offer you an individual “booster” meeting with me after the workshop.
