A 3-day workshop to learn how to navigate your Thoughts, your Feelings, and your Self with more ease and live a more fulfilling life.

This is intended to be a very practical workshop. I am offering it as a crash-course at living with ease and meaning. It is a compilation of my experience and learning over the last 18 years as a licensed psychologist. The concepts and skills taught are largely based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and neuroscience. I have written about many of them in my blog.

Over the course of this workshop, I will teach you how to consistently make choices in support of a rich, fulfilling life. We will work through a series of modules focused on changing your relationship with your thoughts, feelings, and self-judgment so that you – not they – are running your show. You will learn to navigate the difficult bits of your inner world with more ease so that you can more easily prioritize what you find valuable in life. Once you are in charge of yourself and you identify what is meaningful to you, it is much easier to make intentional choices throughout each day that connect you to what fulfills you.

We will discuss and practice specific concepts and skills designed to:

Shift how you relate to your Thoughts. You can’t control which thoughts show up, but you can choose which thoughts you attend to. I will show you how to use this key concept to your advantage.

Shift how you relate to your Feelings. I will teach you what to do with uncomfortable emotions and how to keep them from making your decisions for you.

Shift how you relate to your Self. I will teach you how to be in charge of yourself, even when thoughts, feelings, and self-criticism are pulling you in a different direction.

Connect you with what is meaningful to you. Once you learn how to run your own show, you need to figure out what that show is going to look like. I will give you practical tools to make the many big and small daily decisions that create a fulfilling life.

We will practice most of the skills and concepts during the workshop. The workshop takes place over three Saturdays, giving participants time to practice in their “real” lives. We will fine-tune strategies or skills that aren’t working for you. On the last day of the workshop, you will develop a realistic, customized daily practice based on the skills and concepts learned throughout the workshop.

You will be offered an individual meeting with me to take place 4-6 weeks after the workshop. We will check in on how you are doing with the concepts learned in the workshop. We will focus our time on how your daily practice is working for you and will make changes to the practice as needed. This meeting is included in the workshop price.

Please note:
Snacks and bottled water will be provided
There will be a one-hour break for lunch each day (not provided)
There is no internet access in the meeting room

Price

• 3-day workshop – $900.
• Early-bird price – $800. (Registration and deposit must be received by April 8, 2019.)
• A deposit of $300 is required at registration. The remainder is required on April 27, 2019.

Full refunds will be given up to 4 days prior to the workshop. A $50 cancellation fee will apply to cancellations made within 4 days of the workshop.

Workshop Size
